ANNEXATION 11.00
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana ("City Council") is desirous of
annexing the real estate described in Exhibit A ("Real Estate"); and
WHEREAS, the Real Estate is comiguous by at least one-eight (1/8) of its aggregate external
boundaries to the present boundary of the City of Carreel, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cannel, Indiana, has heretofore defined the corporate boundaries of
the City and is desirous of annexing the Real Estate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council that the Real Estate be and
hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter be a part of the City of Camel, Indiana;
BE IT FLIRTHER ORDAINliD by the City Council that the Real Estate is assigned to
Council District 5/ ,
BE IT FLIRTHER ORDAINED by the City Council that this Annexation Ordinance No.
(7- / c] D shall be in full force and affect sixty (60) days after its final publication pursuant to
I.C. 5-3-1.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR ANNEXATION
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 18 North, Range 4 East in Clay Township,
Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast comer of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 18 North, Range
4 East; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the South line of said
Southeast Quarter 1050.86 feet to the Southeast comer of Timber Crest Bend, a subdivision in said County
recorded as Instrument Number 91-781 I, P.C. I, Slide I59, in the Office of the Recorder of said County;
thence North 00 degrees 02 minutes 54 seconds West 740.81 feet along the east line of said subdivision to
the Northeast comer thereof; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes 21 seconds West 576.86 feet along the
North line of said subdivision to the Northwest comer thereof and Point of Beginning of this description;
thence South 15 degrees 23 minutes 24 seconds East 249.78 feet along the West line of Lot 5 in said
subdivision to the Southwest comer thereof, said point being on the Northerly right-of-way line of Timber
Crest Bend Drive (the following three [3] described courses being along said right-of-way line); thence
Southwesterly, Southerly, and Southeasterly, along a curve to the left having a radius of 50.00 feet and a
central angle of 106 degrees 21 minutes 28 seconds, the chord of which bears South 06 degrees 01 minutes
53 seconds East 80.05 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence Southeasterly, Southerly, and
