Whereas, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana ("Common
Council") is desirous of annexing to the City of Carmel, Indiana, the real estate described
on Exhibit "a" hereto ("Real Estate"); and
Whereas, the Real Estate is contiguous by at least one-eight (1/8) of its aggregate
external boundaries to the present boundary of the City of Carmel, Indiana, and
Whereas, the City of Carmel, Indiana has heretofore defined the corporate boundaries of
the City of Carmel and is now desirous of annexing the Real Estate;
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Common Council that the Real Estate be, and
hereby is, annexed to and shall hereafter be a part of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
Be it further ordained by the Common Council that the Real Estate is assigned to
Council District
Be it further ordained by the Common Council that this Annexation Ordinance No.
shall be in full force and effect sixty (60) day after its final publication pursuant to I.C. 5-
3-1.

Section 4 (Plat cabinet 1, slide 14, instrument #8907974), thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 38
seconds East along the North line of Kingswood a distance of 1329.03 feet to the West line of
Wood Creek, Section 2 as recorded in plat book 7, page 7; (the next four courses being along
said West line of Wood Creek, sec. 2) thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 52 seconds West a
distance of 1073.21feet to a 'REBAR"; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 08 seconds West a
distance of 66.00 feet; thence North 26 degrees 50 minutes 52 seconds West a distance of 551.30
