ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, ("Common Council")
is desirous of annexing to the City of Carmel, Indiana, the real estate described on Exhibit A
hereto ("Real Estate"); and,
WHEREAS, the Real Estate is contiguous by at least one-eighth (1/8) of its aggregate
external boundaries to the present boundary of the City of Carmel, Indiana; and
I~7tEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana has heretofore defined the corporate boundaries
of the City and is desirous of annexing the Real Estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council that the Real Estate
by and hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter be, a part of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Common Council that the Real Estate is assigned
to Council District 1.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Common Council that this Annexation Ordinance
No. C-171 shall be in full force and affect sixty (60) days after its final publication pursuant to

County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows:
Cc..mmencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest. Quarter of
Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 4 East; thence Westerly on tll,
Nc~ta line of said Northwest Quarter 466.69 feet; thence Southerly
pc.~aitel with the East line of said Northwest Quarter 16.50 feet` to
the approximate Southerly right-of way line of 146Lh Street and
PLACE OF BEGINNING of the within described real estate; thence
Southerly parallel with the East line of said Northwest Quarter
450.18 feet; thence Easterly parallel with the North line of said
Northwest Quarter 466.69 feet to the East line of said Northwest
Quarter; thence Southerly on said East line to the Southeast corn'er
or the North Half of said' Northwest Quarter; thence Westerly on the
South line of said Nor. th Half to the Easterly right-of-way line of
Frontage Road No. 1A as shown on the plans for I.S.H.C. plans for

146th Street as shown on said 'plans; thence Northeasterly following

South of the North line of said Northwest Quarter (approximate
