WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
("Common Council") is desirous of annexing to the City of Carmel,
Indiana the real estate described as "Exhibit A" hereto ("Real
Estate" ); and
WHEREAS, the Real Estate is contiguous by at least one-
eighth (1/8) of its aggregate external boundaries to the present
boundary of the City of Carmel, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana has heretofore defined
the corporate boundaries of the City and is desirous of annexing
the Real Estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council that
the Real Estate be and hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter
be a part of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Common Council that theza ~1

A part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 18 North,
Range 4 East, located in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana,
being bounded as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the West line of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 22, Township 18 North, Range 4 East, said point of
beginning being North 00 degrees 11 minutes 22 seconds East
(assumed bearing) 765.30 feet from the Southwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 47 seconds
East 1670.31 feet parallel with the North line of the South Half
of said Northwest Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 11 minutes 22
seconds East 556.77 feet parallel with the West line of said
Northwest Quarter to tile North line of the South Half of said
Northwest Quarter; thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 47 seconds
West 1670.31 feet along the North line of the South Half of said
Northwest Quarter to the Northwest corner of the South Half of
said Northwest Quarter, said corner being collinear with and
equidistant from the Northwest corner and Southwest corner of
said Northwest Quarter; thence South 00 degrees 11 minutes 22
seconds West 556.77 feet along the West line of said Northwest
Quarter to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 21.35 acres, more
