WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana is
desirous of annexing the following described real estate, and
WHEREAS, the following described real estate is contiguous by
at least one/eighth of its aggregate external boundaries to the
present boundary of the City of Carmel, Indiana and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana has heretofore defined
the corporate boundaries of the City and is desirous of annexing
the following described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Carmel, Indiana that the following described real estate in
Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana be and hereby is annexed to
and shall hereafter be a part of the City of Carmel, Indiana:

These annexation parcels are assigned the Councilmanic

The Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana declares that
this annexation ordinance shall be in full force and effect sixty
(60) days after its final publication pursuant to IC 5-3-1.

A strip of land 16.5 feet wide in part of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 21 and in part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, all
in Township 18 North, Range 4 East, in Hamilton County, Indiana,
and lying Easterly and Southeasterly of the following described
line:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 21 (and the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of
said Section 22); thence South, along the East line thereof (and
the West line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 22), to the
Northerly corner of a two and one-half acre tract described as an
exception in Deed Record 145, page 251 in the Office of the
Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana; thence Southwesterly along
the Northwesterly line of said tract to the South line of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 21 and there terminate.
Said strip contains 1.06 acres, more or less.

A strip of land 16.5 feet wide off the entire East side of the
following described tract (Deed Record 240, page 71):
Part of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 21, Twp. 18 N., Range 4E, in Hamilton
County, Indiana, more particularly described follows: Beginning
1320 ft South 00 degrees 00 minutes (assumed bearing) of the NE
corner of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 21, Twp. 18 N., Range 4E., and on the
East line of said Quarter Section; thence continuing South 00
degrees 00 minutes on and along said East line 395.0 feet; thence
North 88 degrees 47 minutes West 311.53 feet; thence North 00
degrees 00 minutes parallel with the East line of said Quarter
Section 386.67 feet; thence North 89 degrees 41 minutes East 311.46
feet to the East line of said Quarter Section and the place of
beginning.
Said strip contains 0.15 acre, more or less.
