WHEREAS the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, is
annexing the following described real estate, and
WHEREAS, the following described real estate is contiguous by at least
one/eighth of its aggregate external boundaries to the present boundar~-olJf~
City of Carmel, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana, has heretofore defined the corporation
boundaries of the City and is desirous of annexing the following described pro-
perty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel,
Indiana, that the following described real estate in Clay Township, Hamilton
County, Indiana, be and hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter be a part of
theCityofCarmel, Indiana:
Part of the South Half of Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 4 East and part
of the North Half of Section 30, Township 18 North, Range 4 East, Clay Township,
HamiltonCounty, Indiana, moreparticularlydescribedasfollows:
'Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19,
Township 18 North, Range 4 East, Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana; thence
South 90 degrees O0 minutes O0 seconds West (assumed bearing) 1584.63 feet on
the South line of said Southwest Quarter to the Southwest corner of the real
estate described in a Right-of-Way Grant as found in Deed Book 213, p.82 in the
Office of the Recorder, Hamilton County, Indiana, being the POINT OF BEGINNING
