HomeMy WebLinkAboutS-49 Sewer Relief FundORDINANCE S-49 ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CARMEL SEWER RELIEF ORDINANCE S-45, AND ORDINANCE S-25~ AS AMENDED WHEREAS, the Common Counsel for the City inacted an Ordinance S-45, commonly known as Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the City of Carmel did experience May, 1988, an unusual lack of rainfall; and WHEREAS, the lack of the Carmel Sewer Utility anticipated for purposes of Carmel, Indiana the Sewer Relief during the month of has WHEREAS, Ordinance S-45 permits sewer relief to the utility's customers only for the months of June through September; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNSEL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA THAT: The City of Carmel Sewer Utilities shall grant, retroactively for the month of May, 1988, as a one time recognition of that month's unusual low rain fall, sewer relief, to be calculated as provided in Ordinance S-45. FURTHER, this relief will be applied in the form of a dollar for dollar credit against any outstanding indebtedness which a May, 1988 customer may have with the utility.
