These bids will be taken under advisment and acted upon within ten days. ~E~te Material: American Aggregat---~s Corp. properly submitted (copy of bid attached) City Engineer, Fred Hohl, moved to accept the bid of American Aggregates, as submitted, City Attorney, Owen Kern seconded it and it passed unanimously. page 2 Utilities Manager, Dougherty, stated he had contacted Several companies that did:not submit bids. ~: Mayor Pickett submitted proposed 1976 policy sheet, stating only major change from last year was in vacation time. Employees now get one week off after 6 months instead of one year. City Engineer moved to approve 1976 policy sheet as submitted, City Attorney seconded it and it passed unanimously. Do~zntown Water Plant: Utilities Manager stated an adjudicary hearing must be held soon for proceedings to begin to eliminate discharge into Cool Creek. Mayor Pickett stated a meeting must be set up immediately with our engineers and the State Board of Health. 1~26th Street Road Project: City Engineer gave review of the 126th Street road project. BR00KSHIRE LIFT STATION: City Engineer reviewed the need for an exps~ion to the ~rookshire lift station. Mayor Pickett to review with Mr. Zinsmeister of Clyde E. Williams & Asso. Utilities Manager stated pumps at 106th Street might be useable. ~0ADWAY TO LIFT STATION: Mayor Pickett read letter from Lumber Mart to past Town Attorney, John Pearce, regarding the road needed to be installed to the lift station' on a drainage and utility easement fro~ Somerset Way to the Brookshire Lift Station. City Attorney to review the matter. Meeting to be set up with Hughey~, ~ Mickey Slossen, City Attorney and Mayor. Mayor to set the date for meeting. ,~TORAGE TANK: Need for 1,000,000 gal. ground storage tank was discussed. Option from John Gradle reviewed. Utilities Manager stated we should have more si~es analized. Cost of pumping from different sites makes a big difference. .LAWSUITS: City Attorney to review suit filed by Ralph Wilfong regarding North Sewer plant and s,~mmons to abandon an alley and give a report to the Mayor. CHANGE ORDER: Upon the recommendation of City Attorney, Chauge Order ~2 was approved for $1,~40.00 plus 4 additional work days to Pass Electric Company for signal light at Carmel Drive and Rangeline Rd.
