1.IN CONJUNCTION WITH THEIR TRADE SPECIFIC DRAWINGS, CONTRACTOR IS TO REFER TO RESPONSIBILITY
SCHEDULE ON G001 FOR CLARIFICATION OF SCOPE THAT NEEDS TO BE COORDINATED WITHOTHER TRADES.
2.REFER TO A111 FOR INTERIOR SHEATHING OF EXTERIOR WALLS AND PARTITIONS.
3.THE G.C. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING AND INSTALLING THE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND THE
APPROPRIATE BLOCKING WITHIN THE WALL CAVITY. THE ACCEPTABLE MFRS. OF THESE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
ARE AS LISTED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS. THE G.C. SHALL COORDINATE EXACT LOCATION IN THE FIELD WITH
THE FRESH MARKET CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR AND PER THE LOCATIONS INDICATED ON THE LIFE
SAFETY PLAN. THE G.C. SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING AND INSTALLING ANY ADDITIONAL
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE LOCAL FIRE MARSHAL AND APPLICABLE CODES.
INSPECTION TAGS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH EACH EXTINGUISHER.
4.THE INTENSION OF THE FRESH MARKET IS TO COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN THE
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITY ACT. IF THERE ARE ANY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FULL COMPLIANCE
WITH ADA CODES THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THESE PLANS, IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE G.C. TO
PROVIDE IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION TO THE ARCHITECT.
5.ALL DIMENSIONS SHALL BE THOROUGHLY COORDINATED WITH COOLER FLOOR PLAN DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW GYPSUM PARTITIONS.
6.G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CUTTING AND PATCHING OF PENETRATIONS MADE BY TRADES UNDER THEIR
CONTROL, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE REFRIGERATION CONTRACTOR WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
PATCHING THEIR OWN PENETRATIONS.
7.BRACE WALLS IN DIRECTION OPPOSITE CUSTOMER VIEW.
8.G.C TO PROVIDE IN-WALL BLOCKING BEHIND ALL WALL MOUNTED ITEMS -SHELVING, BABY CHANGING
STATIONS, WALL DESKS, AND DOOR KNOB DAMAGE AREAS.
9.ALL DIMENSIONS ARE TO FACE OF STUDS, COLUMN CENTER LINES, OR NOMINAL FACE OF MASONRY, UNLESS
NOTED OTHERWISE.
10. THE G.C. SHALL GROUT THE GAP BETWEEN THE WALK-IN FREEZERS/COOLERS AND THE EDGE OF THE
DEPRESSED SLAB.
11.G.C. TO IS RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE ALL SUBSTRATE MATERIAL ENQUIRED BEHIND FINISHES.
12.ALL SURFACES MUST BE SMOOTH AND SEALED, WALL AND FLOORS MUST BE FREE OF DIVETS, DENTS, AND
DEFECTS, ETC.
13. ALL INSULATION MATERIAL SHALL BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FRAME SPREAD RATING SMOKE
DENSITY REQUIREMENTS OF LOCALLY ADOPTED CODE.
14. THE G.C. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HANGING TWO CARE LIABILITY SIGNS ON THE FRONT WALL OF THE
STORE. THE BOTTOM OF EACH SIGN SHALL BE MOUNTED 6'-0" A.F.F. SIGNS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE FRESH
MARKET.
