December 20, 1978
The Board of~ublic Works was called to order at 3:10 I~MbyMr' Kern, who
presided in the absence of the M~yor. Mr. Hohl was present. Clerk-TreasLurer
was present also.
BID oPENING: CLEANING OF DIGESTER AT NORTHPLANT: Bids were opened for cleaning
of digester at north plant as follows:
Municipal Equipment Service Co. - .... $1h,O00.00
Commercial Sewer Cleauing Co,Inc.- .... 16,000.00
Bid was referred to City Engineer to be awarded at a later date.
INDEMNITY AGwEEMENT: DEGAN & ASSOC.: Mr. Kern moved to approve the indemnity
~g~eement with American States Ins ~o. paying them the outstandingbalance of
$1,825.~ owed Degan & Associates subject to funding, Mr. Eohl seconded it and
it passed unanlmously.
AGB~WITH RESPECT TO ROADWORK: Mr. Hohl moved to approve an ~greement
with respect to Road Work on Carey 'Road which is a part of the County highway
system maintained by the Commissioners and which road bounds real estate owned
by Joe Dawson who has petitioned to have the re~l estate annexed to the City of
Carmel, Mr. Kern seconded it and it passed Lmanimously.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 3:20 PM.
