Drive, appeared before the Board to request permission to tap on to our
sewer line runniD~ through Smokey Row Road. Mrs. Jack Powell, 1360~ M~ple
Drive and Nv. Tim Reinhsm, 3422 Beech Drive also were present. Nv. Koch
stated they were located in Maple acres which is bordered on three sids~
by Cool Creek North. He stated the problem they had is since Cool Creek
North has been developed and built, they are getting an excessive smount
of water through their yards. In his instance it has rendered the septic
system almost totally useless. They have noticed the presence of excessive
water th_rough the upheaval of the street which h~d not occurred before
the houses were completed. The Powell's have au extensive problem of water
under the house which the Board is familiar with. They feel it wou3~d alleviate
their situation considerably if they could tap onto the S~wer which runs
through Smokey Row Road, thus dmaini~ the excess moisture that is placed
in their yards through the septic systems and allowing the surface run-off
to continue it's natural pattern into the ravine and through the natural
run-off process. They understood they would have to pay the expense.
Natural tiles have been cut, most Cool Creek houses are higher than theirs
causim~ their area to be a tremendously wet area. Mayor Pickett stated
he would be receptive to agreeim~ to their request but would need to check
the legality of the situation. Re stated he understood the immediate
