MEETING OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
DECEMBER 23, 1980
The special meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to
order by Mayor Reiman at 4:30 P.M. with Board members Billy
Walker and Fred Swift present. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer.
Mr. Walker made a motion to approve claims #6616 through #6757 in
the amount of $103,615.02. Mr. Swift seconded the motion which
passed unanimously.
Discussion ensued regarding a computer system. The Clerk-
Treasurer informed the Board that she had spend a good deal of
time trying to coordinate something between the police department
and her office so that perhaps one system would do the job for
both places. The Board stated they felt that was the best idea if
a system could be found to accommodate both, it would be the most
economical way to go. The Clerk-Treasurer had looked at systems
presented to the Police Department and Chief Lowe would be
checking out NCR and both were working with a computer consultant
to see what would be the most efficient and economical system.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
same was duly adjourned at 4:50 P.M.
