HomeMy WebLinkAboutBPW-08-24-81MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING AUGUST 24, 1981 The meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to order by Mayor Reiman at 4:30 P.M. on August 24, 1981. Board members Billy Walker and Fred Swift were present. Also present was Clerk- Treasurer. Old Business Acceptance of bids on truck for Engineering Dept. - City Engineer, Tom Welch and Water Supervisor, Dave Pace appeared before the Board with a spread sheet of the bids received. Following presentation, Mr. Walker made a motion to accept the bid of Foxworthy Ford for a 1982 302-V-8 in the amount of $7039.68 as recommended. Motion seconded by Mr. Swift and passed unanimously. New Business Availability Verification Scheid Tire, Keystone Square - The Board was in receipt of a letter from City Engineer, Tom Welch recommending reverification of water and sewer availability for Scheid Tire in Keystone Square. Mr. Swift made a motion to approve water availability in the amount of.46 EDU's as per water ordinance A-51, Section 4 and sewer availability in the amount of 4.6 EDU's as per sewer ordinance S-36, Section 5 not to exceed average daily flow of 920 gallons per day per recommendation of City Engineer. Motion seconded by Mr. Walker and passed unanimously. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the same was duly adjourned at 4:45 P.M.
