BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING
JULY 27, 1981
The meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to order by
Mayor Reiman at 4:30 P.M. on July 27, 1981. Board member Fred
Swift was present as was Clerk-Treasurer.
Mr. Swift made a motion to approve the minutes of July 13. Motion
seconded by Mayor Reiman and passed unanimously.
Old Business
York Subdivision - Mr. Chris White and Mr. Ron Gerwig came before
the Board for approval of water and sewer availability for their
subdivision, Recherche' formerly referred to as York subdivision.
Mr. Gerwig presented the Board with a letter stating he would not
oppose annexation of the area by the City. (letter attached to
these minutes) Mayor Reiman stated that availability would not be
possible until completion of the North-South Interceptor.
Mr.Gerwig stated they had applied to the State for permission to
use holding tanks if there were houses ready for occupancy prior
to completion of construction. Mr. Swift made a motion to approve
sewer availability in the amount of 20 EDU's as per Sewer Ord S-
36, not to exceed 4000 gallons per day and water availability in
the amount of 20 EDU's as per Water Ord. A-51, not to exceed 8000
gallons per day pursuant to recommendation letter from City
Engineer, Tom Welch. Motion seconded by Mayor Reiman and passed
unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
same was duly adjourned at 4:55 P.M.
