MINUTES OF THE
REVENUE SHARING USE HEARING
AUGUST 23, 1982
Mayor Reiman called the Revenue Sharing Use Hearing to order at 11:05
A.M. on August 23, 1982 with Clerk-Treasurer, Dorothy J. Hancock
present.
Ms. Jackie Nytes, from the Carmel Public Library, stated she would like
to appear before the Council for a request from Revenue Sharing in an
approximate amount of $4000 for a microfilming project. Ms. Nytes was
informed the request would go into the Use Hearing minutes and that she
would need to get back-up information to the Clerk-Treasurer by
September 8th in order to be on the agenda for September 13.
Mrs. Terry Litvan, 1214 Fairbanks, Carmel, expressed a need for
sidewalks in several areas of the city and suggested this as a possible
use of Revenue Sharing monies.
Mrs. Hancock advised that the Council was in receipt of requests as
follows:
Janus Developmental Services $12,500
Hamilton County Senior Citizens $ 6,000
Hamilton Centers $ 5,000
Computer Payment and Maintenance $17,205
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the same
was duly adjourned at 11:30 A.M.
