Home My WebLink AboutCCM-08-23-82 SPECIAL MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 23, 1982 Mayor Reiman called the special meeting of the Council to order at 6:00 P.M. on August 23, 1982 with Council members Walker, McMullen, Fleming, Johnson, Garretson, Kerr and Shepherd present. Also present was Clerk Treasurer, Dorothy J. Hancock. Mr. Garretson made a call for the question on Ordinance D-343, General Budget. Mr. Johnson stated he was in receipt of a survey of the Plan Commission, BZA and EDC members, and would bring the subject of the stipends for these members back to the Council at a later date. Vote was taken on Ordinance D-343 which passed 5-0-2, Kerr and Shepherd abstaining. Call for the question on Ordinance D-344, MVH budget was made and vote taken. Ordinance D-344 passed 5-0-2, Kerr and Shepherd abstainin~. Call for the question on Ordinance D-345, Bond Redemption Budget, was made and vote taken. Ordinance D-345 passed 5-0-2, Kerr and Shepherd abstaining. Upon question from Mrs. Kerr, the Clerk-Treasurer stated the budget could not be amended upwards. The budget could only be cut or the same money moved from one category to another within the individual bud~ets at this time. Call for the question on Ordinance D-346, EDC Budget, was made and vote taken. Ordinance D-346 passed unanimously. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the same was duly adjourned at 6:17 P.M. APPROVED: ATTEST:
