BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING
AUGU ST 22, 1983
The meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to order by
Mayor Reiman at 4:30 P.M. on August 22, 1983. Board member Fred
Swift was present as was Clerk-Treasurer representative, Marilyn
Martin.
Claims - Mr. Swift made a motion to approve the computer printout
pages 1 through 84 for claims in the amount of $631,950.96. Motion
seconded by Mayor Reiman and passed unanimously.
Mayor Reiman made a motion to approve the docket of handwritten
checks, page 1, claim #1989 to page 3, claim # 5472A, in the amount
of $1,299,881.36. Motion seconded by Mr. Swift and passed
unanimously.
Promotion of Police Officer - Chief Jerry Lowe came before the
Board and requested that Philip C. Hinerman be taken off
probationary status and promoted permanent status as a 2nd class
patrolman with an increase in salary effective August 19, 1983. Mr.
Swift made a motion to promote Probationary Officer Philip C.
Hinerman to 2nd class patrolman effective Aug. 19, 1983. Motion
seconded by Mayor Reiman and passed unanimously.
Information on Pension - Mayor Reiman stated that the Board wanted
Chief Lowe to pursue an appeal to the Perf Board on behalf of Ron
Carter.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
same was duly adjourned at 4:40 P.M.
