BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING
JUNE 10, 1983
Mayor Reiman called a special meeting of the Board of Public
Works to order at 4:40 P.M. with Board members Swift and
Walker present. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer, Dottie
Hancock.
Mr. Don Silvey of HNTB presented an agreement for municipal
wastewater service with Clay Township. Mr. Bob Book and
Attorney Bob Campbell were present on behalf of the Clay
Township Regional Waste District. Mr. Silvey stated this
agreement is necessary for Clay Township to apply for their
grant under the Regional Waste District. Mr. Walker asked if
Mr. Coots, our city attorney had approved this agreement and
Mayor Reiman stated he had. Mr. Silvey stated the agreement
was based on a formula presented by H.J. Umbaugh & Assoc. and
coordinated with existing City ordinances.
Mr. Walker made a motion to approve the Municipal Wastewater
Service Agreement Between the City of Carmel and the Clay
Township Regional Waste District. Motion seconded by Mayor
Reiman and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
the same was duly adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
