HomeMy WebLinkAboutBPW-06-11-84EMERGENCY SESSION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS JUNE 11, 1984 Mayor Reiman called the emergency session of the Board of Public Works to order at 6:10 P.M. on June 11, 1984, with Board members Walker and Swift present. The newspapers had been notified earlier in the day. Don Silvey, HNTB, presented the amended final facilities plan for the south sewer plant. Mr. Silvey stated it would be necessary to hold a public hearing in order to comply with regulations of the EPA and State Board of Health. Mr. Swift made a motion to set a public hearing for July 27, 1984 at which time the pro posal for expanding the south treatment plant by 2.88 million gallons per day will be re viewed for the pub lic and input accepted prepatory to application for EPA approval of said expansion. Motion seconded by Mr. Walker and passed unanimously. Mr. Walker made a motion to approve the amended final facilities plan to be presented by HNTB at the public hearing on July 27, 1984, reducing the capacity from 10.63 million gallons per day to 8.88 million gallons and authorize revision of the facilities plan to so state. Motion seconded by Mr. Swift and passed unanimously. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the same was duly adjourned at 6:20 P.M.
