BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING
APRIL 30, 1984
The meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to order at
4:55 P.M. on April 30, 1984. Board members Billy Walker and Fred
Swift were present. Also present were City Attorney Lee Lonzo,
Attorney Andrews and Clerk-Treasurer Representative Marilyn Martin.
Rick Rambusch of R.V. Welch presented an illustration and explained
plans for area at 116th and Meridian. Mr. Walker made a motion that
the Board proceed post haste to get everything finalized and make
the improvements at 116th and Meridian at the original cost to take
advantage of state funding and recommend that the Mayor take this
to the Council to get the necessary funding to make purchases of
right-of-way and if necessary to proceed with condemnation. Motion
seconded by Mr. Swift and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
same was duly adjourned at 5:05 P.M.
