ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH ALL GOVERNING CODES AND ORDINANCES, INCLUDING ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND LIFE SAFETY CODES, INCLUDING BUT NOT NECESSARILY LIMITED TO THE 2017 O.B.C., THE 2010 A.D.A. GUIDELINES, AND ALL CODES AND REFERENCES NOTED ELSEWHERE ON THESE DRAWINGS OR APPLICABLE DUE TO GOVERNING CODE. 2. REPORT ANY CONFLICTS OR INCONSISTENCIES TO THE ARCHITECT BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK. 3. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTORS TO INITIATE, MAINTAIN, AND SUPERVISE ALL SAFETY MEASURES, PRECAUTIONS, AND PROGRAMS IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORK. 4. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD VERIFYING ALL CONDITIONS; BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK, ALL DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN FIELD CONDITIONS AND DRAWINGS SHALL BE REPORTED TO A/E. 5. FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS REQUIRED FOR EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. COORDINATE LAYOUT WITH OWNER TO ACCOMMODATE ACTUAL SIZES NEEDED. 6. OBTAIN ANY MISSING DIMENSIONS OR INFORMATION FROM THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK. DO NOT SCALE ANY DRAWINGS. 7. DO NOT DEMOLISH ANYTHING NOT SPECIFICALLY NOTED ON THESE PLANS. IF CONCEALED ITEMS ARE DISCOVERED IN EXISTING WALLS (OR OTHER CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLIES) GENERALLY NOTED AS "TO BE DEMOLISHED," THEN DO NOT PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION WITHOUT RECEIVING CONSENT FROM THE ARCHITECT (AND THE CONSULTING ENGINEER, WHEN APPLICABLE). 8. SOME DETAILS, SYSTEMS, AND MEANS OF CONSTRUCTION ARE SHOWN TYPICALLY FOR A SINGLE CONSTRUCTION. WITH REASONABLE MODIFICATION THEY CAN BE APPLIED TO ALL REMAINING SIMILAR DETAILS BY THE CONTRACTOR. 9. CONTRACTOR IS ENCOURAGED TO VISIT THE SITE PRIOR TO BIDDING TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS. 10. THE ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MEANS, METHODS, PROCEDURES, TECHNIQUES, OR SEQUENCES OF CONSTRUCTION NOT HEREIN SPECIFIED. 11. ALL EQUIPMENT SHOWN DIAGRAMMATICALLY ONLY. PROVIDE DETAILED DESIGN AS WELL AS ALL INTEGRATED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO FABRICATION AND OR INSTALLATION. 12. ALL EQUIPMENT, MILLWORK, AND CABINETRY ARE SHOWN DIAGRAMMATICALLY ONLY. PROVIDE DETAILED DESIGN AS WELL AS ALL MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL AND/OR REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO FABRICATION/INSTALLATION. 13. CUTTING AND PATCHING SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH CONTRACTOR REQUIRING SUCH WORK. REFER TO GENERAL CONDITIONS. 14. ALL COORDINATION SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR OR HIS DESIGNEE. 15. WORK MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE PERFORMED OFF-HOURS. VERIFY WORK HOURS REQUIREMENTS WITH THE OWNER AND INCLUDE COSTS FOR SAME IN BID. 16. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF HIS OWN WORK UNTIL FINAL ACCEPTANCE. ALL ASSEMBLIES ARE DESIGNED TO BE SELF- SUFFICIENT WHEN IN PLACE AND SHOULD HAVE NECESSARY MEANS OF TEMPORARY PROTECTION PRIOR TO FINAL COMPLETION. 17. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAILY REMOVAL OF HIS/HER SPOILS, CUTTINGS, DROPPINGS, EXCESS MATERIAL AND DEBRIS. 18. IN THE EVENT THAT A CONFLICT OF RESPONSIBILITY OCCURS FOR A PART OF THE WORK, THE CONTRACTOR WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CSI SPECIFICATION DIVISION IN WHICH THE WORK IS CUSTOMARILY PLACED WILL PERFORM THE WORK. 19. ALL CONTRACTORS SHALL REFER TO MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND F,F&E DRAWINGS FOR INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THAT SPECIFIC TRADE, WHICH MAY IMPACT THEIR TRADE'S WORK. FIELD VERIFY & COORDINATE PLACEMENT OF ALL RESPECTIVE M/E/P FIXTURES AND/OR F,F&E ITEMS, AND REPORT ALL DISCREPANCIES TO A/E BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH WORK. 20. IF DIRECTIONS ON THESE PLANS CONFLICT WITH DIRECTION ESTABLISHED BY THE OWNER, THEN CONTACT THE OWNER OR THE ARCHITECT FOR CLARIFICATION PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK. 21. ABIDE BY ALL OWNER'S TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS REGARDING TEMPORARY FACILITIES, INFECTION CONTROL, JOBSITE ACCESS AND SECURITY, AND ALL OTHER APPLICABLE TYPICAL OWNER REQUIREMENTS. 22. ALL RATED FIRE ASSEMBLIES MUST HAVE THE PROPER U.L. RATING. IF WORK HEREIN REQUIRES CUTTING OF EXISTING RATED ASSEMBLIES, THEN PATCHING SHALL CONFORM TO THE ORIGINAL OR LATEST REQUIREMENTS OF THE RELEVANT U.L. RATING. REFER TO THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR MORE INFORMATION. 23. ERECT DUST BARRIERS AS REQUIRED TO PREVENT TRANSFER OF CONSTRUCTION DUST TO NEIGHBORING SPACES. PROVIDE ALL CONTAINMENT AND INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS REQUIRED BY THE OWNER. 24. PROVIDE FRT BLOCKING IN WALLS, AS REQUIRED, IN ORDER TO SECURE ALL EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES, HANDRAILS, HARDWARE, CASEWORK, ETC. COORDINATE WITH APPROPRIATE TRADE AND/OR MANUFACTURER AND THE CORRESPONDING INSTALLATION AGENT. BLOCKING TO IS NOT NECESSARY FOR WALL MOUNTED BIO HAZARD CONTAINERS, SHARPS BOX CONTAINERS, SOAP DISPENSERS, GLOVE DISPENSERS OR TOWEL DISPENSERS. 25. REFER TO THE SPECIFIC SCHEDULES FOR DESCRIPTIONS OF DOOR TYPES, GLASS TYPES, HARDWARE SETS AND ACCESSORIES. 26. PROVIDE TRANSITION STRIPS AT ALL FLOOR INTERSECTIONS OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS, EXCEPT AS MAY BE PROVIDED OTHERWISE BY OWNER DIRECTION. 27. DIFFERENT FLOOR MATERIALS SHALL MEET UNDER THE CENTERLINE OF DOORS UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 28. SEPARATE DISSIMILAR METALS TO PREVENT CORROSION CAUSED BY ELECTROLYTIC ACTION OR OTHER CAUSES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE RESPECTIVE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER/SUPPLIER. 29.
