MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
JUNE 24, 1986
The special meeting of the Board of Public Works was called to
order by Mayor Reiman at 5:15 P.M. on June 24, 1986, with Board
members Swift and Walker present. Also present was City Attorney
Andrews and Assistant to the Mayor, Cathie Reamer, taking notes of
the meeting for the Clerk-Treasurer.
Old Business
Award of Bid - 116th Street Sewer Line East of Keystone - Don
Silvey of HNTB stated he had reviewed the bids for the sewer line
and recommended the Board accept the low bid from Eagle Valley
Construction Corporation. Mr Walker made a motion to accept the bid
of Eagle Valley Construction Corp. in the amount of $186,000.00 for
the construction of a sewer line on 116th Street east of Keystone
Avenue. Motion seconded by Mr. Swift and passed unanimously.
New Business
Police New Hire - The Board was in receipt of a request from the
police department for permission to hire people to fill vacancies
in the department. Mayor Reiman made a motion to approve the hiring
of Donna Condra as Records Clerk and Larry L. Strausborger as
Dispatcher effective June 30, 1986, with the approval of Chief
Smith. Motion seconded by Mr. Swift and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
same was duly adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
