HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCM-09-29-00 Special Meeting CARMEL CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2000 - 8:00 A.M. COUNCIL CHAMBERS / CITY HALL / ONE CIVIC SQUARE MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor James Brainard; Council President Norm Rundle; Councilors John Koven, Bob Battreall, Luci Snyder, Ron Carter and Wayne Wilson. Clerk-Treasurer Diana Cordray, Deputy Clerk Cindy Sheeks, Chief Douglas Callahart, Chief Michael Fogarty and Steve Engelking were also in attendance. Councilor Kirby arrived at 8:06 a.m. Mayor Brainard called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Council President Rundie initiated discussion concerning the 2000 Budget reductions, see Attachment. Mayor Brainard continued discussions. All involved came to an agreement to accept the proposed reductions. It was also determined that the de-appropriation Ordinance would probably not be necessary. Councilor Carlet leJ~ the meeting at 8:43 a.m. Councilor Snyder le~ the meeting at 8:55 a.m. Councilor Kirby stated he had received more concerns about parking in Old Town. He requested a map and all existing Ordinances to be gathered for the Utilities and Transportation Committee Meeting scheduled for October 13, 2000.
