I have reviewed the taped videos of the meeting and have confirmed that Councilman Rider and Commissioners Ziccola and Holle specifically requested that the corridor/gateway designations for Main and 126th Street be eliminated at this time. Until such time as other factors are determined this request to remove was reasonable. 126 th Street was retained with a comment that it would allow the Core to connect to River Amenities. This retention is premature and the requests of the Councilman Rider and Comissioners Ziccola and Holle should be honored and the corridor designation should be eliminated for 126th Street.
