1. ALL EXIT SIGNS AND EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE SHOWN ON ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO
INSPECTION FROM THE FIRE MARSHAL HAVING AUTHORITY PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVALS
2. GC SHALL FURNISH AND PROVIDE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND THE APPROPRIATE BLOCKING OR ATTACHMENTS
TO THE WALL, COLUMN, OR FIXTURE. REFERENCE SPECIFICATIONS FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. GC SHALL
COORDINATE EXACT LOCATION IN THE FIELD PER THE LOCATIONS INDICATED ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN. THE
GC SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING AND INSTALLING ANY ADDITIONAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS THAT
MAY BE REQUIRED. INSPECTION TAGS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH EACH EXTINGUISHER.
3. REFERENCE COVER SHEET FOR LIFE SAFETY CALCULATIONS.
4. K TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS SHALL BE WITHIN 30 FT OF EACH COOKING APPLIANCE EQUIPMENT WITHIN A HOOD
SYSTEM.
5. LOCATION OF EQUIPMENT SHOWN FOR CLARITY PROPOSED IN ORDER TO SHOW LOCAL EGRESS PATH
PROGRESSION THROUGH BUILDING.
6. BUILDING TENANT SPACE IS PROTECTED WITH AN EXISTING AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
7. MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 3'-0" AISLE WIDTH ON THE SALES FLOOR WHERE MERCHANDISE OR OTHER
OBSTRUCTIONS ARE PLACED ON SIDE OF THE AISLE, AND 3'-8" AISLE WIDTH WHEN SUCH OBSTRUCTION ARE
