1 Connect new domestic cold water piping to existing cold water piping. Verify size and location of existing piping
prior to construction. Report any problems to engineer.
2 Run piping up in joists (Typ.). Coordinate piping run with electrical, mechanical, structural and refrigeration and
existing conditions prior to construction. Do not run piping over lights, electrical panels, thru roof hatch area,
over/thru elevator machine room, thru elevator shaft or over compressor racks.
3 Run 2" hot water, 2" cold water and 3/4" recirculated hot water to water heater. See detail on Sheet P502.
4 Run 1/2" cold water piping down to IM-1 thru BFP-1 and filter. See detail on Sheet P502. Locate filter high on wall.
Coordinate location with EC and TFM project manager prior to installation.
5 Run cold water to coffee brewers thru BFP-4 and main filter. See filter detail on Sheet P502.
6 Run 3/4" cold water piping down. Run 3/4" cold water piping thru BFP-2 and filter to BO-1 with check valve and
PR-1 with check valve. See detail on Sheet P502. Extend 3/4" filtered water piping above ceiling and drop in wall.
Connect to bakery oven and proofer.
7 Run piping on warm side of insulation in exterior walls.
8 1/2" cold water down to pressure regulating valve, set at 50 psi (verify setting with equipment supplier and TFM), &
shut-off, 108" AFF for reverse osmosis. (Coordinate location with TFM construction manager prior to construction).
9 Run filtered lines in 1" EMT conduits. The filtered lines shall be connected to the case misters. The non-filtered line
shall not be run in conduit and shall be connected to the case quick disconnect. Coordinate with refrigeration
contractor and TFM construction manager prior to construction.
10 Trap primer supply. See detail on Sheet P501.
11 Provide and install flow switch on HWR line, wired to store's EMS system (wiring by controls contractor). See Sheet
P602 for specification.
12 Run 12" CW & 12" HW to Hand Sink and 12" CW & 12" HW to Hose Reel with backflow device.
13 Water heaters on 6" concrete maintenance pad, by GC.
14 Run water piping, with ball valves, on top of refrigerated produce cases.
15 Piping below floor.
16 Piping in structure below mezzanine.
17 Shutoff valves in vertical drop in back area (typical).
18 Shutoff valve max. 12' AFF.
