D-2614-22 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE NON- REVERTING SIDEWALK PROGRAM FUND (FUND #925) Synopsis: Appropriates funds in the Non-Reverting Sidewalk Program Fund so that they can be expended on sidewalk repair grants. WHEREAS, on December 7, 2020, the Carmel Common Council adopted Ordinance No. D- 2559-20, which established a non-reverting fund for the Carmel Sidewalk Repair Grant Program; and WHEREAS, Thirty Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Three Dollars and Fifteen Cents ($30,323.15) is needed to fund grants for the 2022 Carmel Sidewalk Repair Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the Non-Reverting Sidewalk Program Fund (Fund #925) has excess funds in the amount of at least Thirty Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Three Dollars and Fifteen Cents ($30,323.15) to appropriate to Line Item 4239099 – Other Miscellaneous. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, that the following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the Non-Reverting Sidewalk Program Fund and for the purposes specified, subject to applicable laws, as follows: $30,323.15 from the Non-Reverting Sidewalk Program Fund (#925) To Non-Reverting Sidewalk Program Fund (#925): Line Item 4239099 – Other Miscellaneous 30,323.15 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and signing by the Mayor.
