Statement supporting chosen art, artist and location:
ARTIST JOHN MOORE MET WITH THE MAYOR A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND PRESENTED HIM
WITH A DRAWING OF "LOVE ETERNAL" WHICH HE CREATED IN MEMORY OF HIS WIFE. THE
MAYOR AND JOHN AGREED THAT CREATING A SCULPTURE OF THE DRAWING WOULD BE
SOMETHING THE COMMUNITY WOULD ENJOY BY HAVING THEIR PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY IT.
THE PLACEMENT OF THE SCULPTURE NEAR THE PALLADIUM, THE NEW HOTEL AND CITY
CENTER WOULD ALLOW FOR SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR BACKGROUNDS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS.
Please submit photo or sketch of proposed art, artist bio, and location photo along with any
plans for area around location if changing.

INCLUDES:
Complete renderings and shop drawings for review and approval by Owner. Fabrication of sculpture with 3/16"
Thick laser cut aluminum plates and internal stiffening members as needed for stren th and stability. All metal
work to be 100% welded and detailed and painted with either powder coat or automotive grade high gloss
acrylic polyurethane. Anchor mount to either an existing concrete surface or walkway capable of supporting the
iece or a new concrete foundation installed on site.
EXCLUDES:
Bonds, Permits or Related Fees
Premium Time for shift work, weekends or holidays.

It is my distinct pleasure to donate my "Love Eternal' drawing, which is depicted in the attached
document, to the City of Carmel for use in the fabrication of a sculpture. The City has my permission to
fabricate and Install the Love Eternal sculpture In any manner and location it sees fit. Although I am
donating my Love Eternal design to the City for the fabrication of a sculpture, I reserve all of my
copyrights in the drawing allowed under law.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to have my Love Eternal design displayed to the citizens of
Carmel.
