A 20-inch by 40-inch attic access opening shall be provided in accordance with Section 1209.2, IBC (675 IAC 13-2.6). Access and service space for equipment and appliances shall be in accordance with Section 306, IMC (675 IAC 18-1.6). Access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment in accordance with Section 110.26, IEC (675 IAC 17-1.8).
