IN BUILDING A -COLUMN FOOTINGS, TRENCH FOOTINGS AND WALL FOOTINGS SHALL BEAR ON SOILS IMPROVED USING AGGREGATE PIERS DESIGNED BY THE INSTALLING CONTRACTOR. QUANTITY OF PIERS, LAYOUT, SIZE, DEPTH, ETC., OF PIERS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEEER IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE. REQUIRED ALLOWABLE BEARING CAPACITY = 6,000 PSF. 12.
