Hancock, no later than NOON, Thursday, December 22, 2005. If filing fee and materials are not delivered by this
time, this application will be continued to the February 7,2005, meeting.
5. This Item will appear on the Tuesday January 3, 2005, agenda of the Plan Commission Special Studies
Committee at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Caucus Rooms, Second Floor.

It is highly unlikely that the Committee will approve this new sign package.
Staff staff does not reccomend approval and suggests using existing sign package.
If the package must change, staff reccomends using signage that fits in with the building's architectual detail and
considers the nature of the business within the facility.

PROJECT NARRATIVE
This project is being submitted for review and approval for an ADLS Sign Amendment of the
above existing medical office building. The site lies entirely within the B5 zoning classification
and is also in the US 31 Overlay district. The current tenants and owners want to revise the
previously approved sign package.
We propose to remove the existing wall sign facing US 31 and replace this wall signage with a
new wall sign. The new sign will have a total area of 30 sq ft. and located on the US 31 fa<;ade
as shown on the attached sign detail. The new sign will have internally illuminated channel letters
14 %" high. We would expect there to be a changeable copy of the sign with matching letters on
the south fa<;ade for a future tenant adjacent to the proposed sign. The total of both signs would
be 60 square feet which is within the ordinance requirements.
The directory sign has been slightly modified from the previously approved sign package for
Meridian North Medical. The directory sign shall be less than 20 square feet and is located on
the NW corner of the building facing 136lh Street.
At this time we are not requesting any further revisions to the previously approved Development
Plan or ADLS approval. Please do not hesitate to contact our office at any time, if you have any
