HomeMy WebLinkAboutDPI013.C3.0.GPDRAINAGE SUMMARY The project proposes a building addition on the south side of the existing building over existing pavement/parking area (impervious area). This project is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Michigan Road and 99th Street in Hamilton County, Indiana. The proposed construction activity will be disturbing approximately 0.24 acres ±; therefore, the project scope is exempt from the City of Carmel's Stormwater Management Permit threshold of land disturbance of 0.25 acres. The construction area will be disturbing existing pavement/parking area. The pavement will be removed within the building addition footprint, utilities relocated as needed, new asphalt pavement installed (binder wedging and surface course, as needed). All storm water runoff will remain in the same pattern with a new roof drain pipe installed to connect into existing on -site storm sewer system and routed to the existing storm water detention facility located at the southwest quadrant of the site. The site was developed in 2001 for Chrysler Realty and rebranded to Ed Martin Pontiac GMC in 2004. Storm water from the site is collected via a network of catch basins in the parking lot and routed to a storm water detention facility located at the southwest quadrant of the site. A parking lot expansion and additional on -site storm water detention and storm water quality BMPs were installed in 2013 on the west side of the property. Refer to Docket No: 12090018 DP AMEND for all previously approved storm water management facilities related to the subject property. There will be no net increase in storm water runoff associated with the building addition due to the fact that all new improvements are replacing already existing impervious areas.
