Arden Townhomes
Dear Jim:
The Carmel Plan Commission took the following action at its meeting February 21, 2006 regarding the
Development Plan and Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping and Signage (DP/ADLS) application for the
Arden Townhomes located at 1940 East 136th Street, Carmel, Indiana 46032.
APPROVED: Docket No. 05120012 DP/ADLS: Arden Townhomes.
The Plan Commission approved the request conditioned upon the following:
1) The petitioner will install one (1) window on the garage portion of the first floor
elevations of the two units facing Smokey Row Road.
2) The land banking of three parking spaces to balance the central green space.
3) Addition of a cascading decorative rock feature between the two ponds near
Smokey Row Road
4) An additional pedestrian connection at the midpoint of the project to the 12-foot
path, as well as connectivity improvements within the site.
The vote of the Commission was ten (10) in favor none (0) opposed, thereby granting the petition.
In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application for
permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval.
