SCREWS. SCREWS SHALL BE LOCATED AT LEAST
8" FROM THE DUCT END.
B. NON-METALLIC FLEXIBLE DUCT SHALL BE
SECURED TO THE SLEEVE OR COLLAR USING A
DRAW BAND. IF THE DUCT COLLAR EXCEEDS 12"Ø,
THE DRAW BAND MUST BE POSITIONED BEHIND A
BEAD ON THE METAL COLLAR.
C. INSULATION AND VAPOR BARRIERS PRESENT ON
FACTORY-FABRICATED DUCTS SHALL BE FITTED
OVER THE CORE CONNECTION AND SHALL BE
SUPPLEMENTALLY SECURED WITH A DRAW BAND.
D. FLEXIBLE DUCT SEALING SHALL BE A CLASS "B"
FOR LOW PRESSURE DUCT.
