Proposed Meijer Convenience Store 1435 West Carmel Drive, Carmel, Indiana The proposed convenience store will be located at the southwest corner of the existing parking lot, which is adjacent to the intersection of Pennsylvania Street and Carmel Drive. The existing development has storm piping and detention basin to handle the entire existing Meijer sore site. The location of the proposed convenience store will be constructed within the existing asphalt pavement therefore no additional impervious area will be added but a decrease of impervious area. The location of the proposed convenience store will require rerouting of a small portion of the existing storm piping and two existing parking lot inlets. Drainage calculations for the relocated pipes were not performed because the drainage areas were reduced and the rerouted pipes sizes and slopes were kept the same. Two new inlets, one manhole and storm piping were added to the east side of the convenience store site. Drainage calculations for the new storm pipe are attached.
