Brief Description of Waiver: Minimum Building Height
In deciding whether or not the applicant has presented sufficient proof to permit the granting of a
waiver, the Plan Commission should consider the following:
. The proposal is in harmony with the purposes and the land-use standards contained in the
Old Meridian District Ordinance, Z-352.
. The proposal enhances the overall development plan, the adjoining streetscapes and
neighborhoods, and the overall Old Meridian District.
. The proposal does not produce a site plan or street/circulation system that would be
impractical or detract from the appearance of the development plan or the Old Meridian
District, and does not adversely affect emergency vehicle access or deprive adjoining
noncommercial properties of adequate light and air.
_ Based on all the evidence presented by the petitioner, we approve of the requested zoning

The following information pertains to the drainage for the proposed Meijer Conveniehc~-l-~~:z.;.--
Store located on the same property as the existing Meijer Store at 1435 West Carmel
Drive, Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana.
Proposed Meijer Convenience Store
1435 West Carmel Drive, Carmel, Indiana
The proposed convenience store will be located at the southwest corner of the existing
parking lot, which is adjacent to the intersection of Pennsylvania Street and Carmel
Drive.
The existing development has storm piping and detention basin to handle the entire
existing Meijer sore site. The location of the proposed convenience store will be
constructed within the existing asphalt pavement therefore no additional impervious area
will be added but a decrease of impervious area.
The location of the proposed convenience store will require rerouting of a small portion
of the existing storm piping and two existing parking lot inlets. Drainage calculations for
the relocated pipes were not performed because the drainage areas were reduced and
the rerouted pipes sizes and slopes were kept the same. Two new inlets, one manhole
and storm piping were added to the east side of the convenience store site. Drainage
calculations for the new storm pipe are attached. No additional detention is required
therefore no increase in the existing detention pond was made.
