All,
The structure can be approved during the Sign Permit Application process. I will assess an ADLS
Amendment fee of $143.50 for the structure. With regards to signage, signs may occupy 60% of one
of the EIFs blocks (see attached). The City Center standards did not have a specific section for this
type of use/signage and I found that Type I Spandrel Panel would work best. If you have an alternate
suggestion please let me know.
Lastly, A101-2 shows what I think is a clearance bar. Will this only be installed in the island or will it
be installed along the sidewalk across the street?

Rachel / Nathan,
Here are the plans for the drive-thru canopy. Compared to the initial design concept, the detailing
still matches what is on the building but the size is smaller and the structure is open between the
columns. The size is smaller in order to fit in the existing curbs of the drive-thru. The structure is
open to allow for more visibility to traffic, aid in the security of the drive-thru, and allow access to
the rear loading ITM.
The signage itself is still being developed, but the location is shown in the perspective on the cover
sheet.

Apparently, and unfortunately, the United Fidelity Bank team has been assuming that they
would just have their typical drive-through canopy arrangement installed on the island
provided for it and that they could do so with no further approvals. They did, however,
recently provide us with information on it. You won't need to review and reject it since I
already took care of that, it being little more than a couple oversized internally illuminated
plastic box signs with a roof.
I came up with the attached version quite some time ago, but I guess nobody on the bank
side thought it relevant until now, so I am submitting it along with a request for comments
and instructions for how to proceed. Materials will be a match to the Baldwin Chambers
Building where the bank is located.
