Petitioner reauests approval for a second sign of 75 SQuare feet on the frontaae facina SR. 431 to reflect the occupancy
of another tenant in a multi-tenant buildinQ.
8) State reasons supporting the Development Standards Variance: (Additionally, complete the attached question
sheet entitled "Findings of Fact-Development Standards Variance").
The proposed sian is not offensive or distractinQ. Effective sianaQe will assist in the flow of traffic by
helpinQ to clearly identify the location of this business.
The proposed siQn is not offensive or distractinQ. Effective signage will benefit surrounding property by
avoidinQ confusion. The area surroundinQ the buildina is commercial. and sians such as the one proposed are
expected in such areas for multi-tenant buildinas.
The use of the building for multiple tenants necessitates the ability of those tenants to effectively and
efficiently identify their location to the public. Restricting the frontage to one sign only undermines the feasibility
of utilizinQ the space as contemplated by the approved use of a multi-tenant office buildinQ of this size.
