SUBJECT PROJECT: West Carmel Marketplace
LOCATION: S of 106<0 Street / E of US 421 - Clay Township
Hamilton County agrees to provide all Inspection and Materials Testing
Services, including transportation and testing equipment, required to satisfy
the County "that the subject project is constructed in accordance with .
Hamilton County approved plans and specifications.
Such Inspection and Testing Services will be in accordance with the Indiana
Department of Transportation policies and procedures, adopted by Hamilton
County, and will insure acceptance of the project into the Hamilton County
System for maintenance, provided the policies, procedures, specifications and
construction plans are adhered to by the Owner and his representatives.
This Agreement does not include construction engineering or construction
stake out.
Hamilton County agrees to perform such Inspection and Testing Services with
Hamilton County personnel and/or an authorized" representative of Hamilton
County.
The Owner agrees to notify the County's inspection agent a minimum of 24
hours prior to any work beginning or the resumption of work after a stoppage
of more than 24 hours.
The estimated time for completion of the project is XXX Weeks or XX Hours.
The total estimated cost for Inspection and Testing services is Six Thousand
Seven Hundred ($6,700.00) dollars.
The actual Inspection and Testing fee will be based on the County's
contractual rate with the "Engineer employed for the Inspection and Testing
services at the actual number of hours of inspection plus the actual cost for
testing required to complete the project. The estimated cost for Inspection
and Testing may not be exceeded without an Amendment to this Agreement.
The Owner agrees to include one hundred (100) percent of the total estimated
cost or Six Thousand Seven Hundred ($6;700.00) dollars with this "Agreement"
with the check made payable to Hamilton County Treasurer.
