Dietz has provided over 32 years of meritorious service to the Carmel community as a Carmel City Police Officer, and will be retiring on April 28, 2022; and WHEREAS, it has been a long-standing policy and practice of the Carmel Police Department to present to each of its sworn officers, upon retirement, their badge and firearm.
