PZ-2022-00040 V, -00042 V, -00043 V: Culver’s Restaurant Variances Dear Mr. Shinaver: At the meeting held on Monday, April 25, 2022, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located at 431 E. Carmel Drive: APPROVED with Condition: Culver’s Restaurant Variances: Development Standards Variance approvals for: • Docket No. PZ-2021-00040 V: Parking spaces: 70 required; 46 granted, • Docket No. PZ-2021-00042 V: Lot coverage: 60% allowed, 68.3% granted, • Docket No. PZ-2021-00043 V: Signage – Number: 1 allowed, 2 signs requested (wall and ground) granted, and • Condition: Culver’s employees are instructed not to park at the Flanner Buchanan funeral home at 325 E. Carmel Drive Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is April 25, 2025. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
