Hello, Aliza,
Here is our layout. The main event sign will be put as a gateway between the two tents being used
as an entryway. The others will be put inside the tent per requirements.
The displayed banner will be 2.5X6. I am assuming that it would be a wall banner.
I am not sure what you need regarding permission. I am the person in charge of the event, and I am
approving its use for our event.

WARNING..External Sender.
Please send me over a site plan with marked location and a letter of approval from who ever is in
charge of the event to use this sign.
I will add it to the application file. I can try and get this through as soon as I get the info.
For the size, you can just email me back with the dimensions of the banner and the classification
(ground or wall). I will attach your response to the permit application.

WARNING..External Sender.
Hello Nick:
Per Carmel UDO, only one temporary wall OR ground sign is allowed with a maximum square
footage of 32sf (if it is meant as a ground sign, it may only be a maximum of 6’ in height).
The application you submitted is for a Public event, unfortunately, this would not be considered
under the Public Event Sign Permit because it is for the same day and not to invite the whole
community to the event.
The sign that we would approve to be displayed outside is the one with the Boosters and
Cheftacular logos. The other one is considered advertising and the Carmel Culinary Boosters (alone)
one is redundant as the logo is already being shown in the first banner. You may place the other two
banners inside the tent, but they may not be displayed outside.

Please include a site plan with the location where sign will be displayed, method of mounting (wall or
ground) and include the dimensions of the sign.
