Engineering issues have been satisfactorily addressed. Please submit the requisite number of copies for
approval.
As it relates to the right,of'way; if the right,of'way wiJJ be dedicated by plat at the February 13th
County Commissioners meeting, this is satisfactory for the Department.
Sarah, Engineering has no further issues with this project.

Thanks so much for revising the plans. I however, still have some comments
based on my review.
1. Thanks for adding the City Standard Detail for the curbing in the r/w.
However, the Site Plan still utilizes Keynote "B" for the curb at the
entrance within the r/w. Please add a Keynote E that references Detail
SA/C6.0 and revise the Keynote reference from "B" to "E" for the curb in the
r/w.
2. Thank you for adding Detail20/C6.1 that incorporates the City's backfill
specifications. Detail IS/C6.l, which I am assuming applies to water and
sewer installations, should be revised to incorporate the final backfill
requirements for water and sewer installations within the City right-of-way,
but not under the pavement and subject to repair by the Street Cut Patch
requirements.
3. Please revise "Street Cut/(See Detail6/C6.0)" to read "Street Cut/(See
Detail SB/C6.0)" on Sheets C2.0 and C3.1.
4. Thank you for adding Detaill/C3.1. However, it still does not completely
address the City's requirements. Please revise the detail as follows:
" Delete Note 3 in it's entirety and replace with the following text: "For
concrete drives, the open cut trench shall be backfilled with flowable fill
per Detail SB/C6.0 with the exception that the 12" thick plain concrete
shall be located at the top of the trench and flush with the adjacent
pavement. Reconstruct the existing drives within the portion of the
right-of-way not impacted by the open cut to match the existing dimensions
with 6-inch minimum thickness concrete."
" Combine Note 4 and 5 to read as follows: "For asphalt drives, the open cut
trench shall be repaired per Detail SB/C6.0. The remainder of the drive
within the right-of-way not impacted by the open cut shall be reconstructed
to match the existing pavement section. The final surface course should be
placed at the same time over the entire portion of the driveway within the
right-of-way. "
" Add Note 5 as follows: "Contractor shall restore any portion of the
existing drives outside of the right-oE-way impacted by the open cut work to
match existing pavement sections and materials."
S. Please delete Detail6/C6.0 as it conflicts with Detail SB/C6.0.
We have no records that the proposed right-of-way has been dedicated. The
proposed right'of-way still needs to be dedicated for this project. Any
outstanding availability and connection fees need to be paid and performance
bonds for the work in the right-of-way need to be posted if not already

provided.

the City on buttoning up the remaining items from our reviews. Jessica, please submit the requisite
number of drawings for approval as soon as you can. They need to be stamped by the City and then by
the County. Ms. Burford, we are happy to see you get started on your project. Please contact the

understanding, Jessica has addressed all of your outstanding items.
Also, Jessica did confirm as part of the County Commissioner plat
approval process, which hearing will occur on 2/13, the right of way
will be dedicated as part of that platting process. Finally, my
understanding is that the contractor contacted Carmel's Permitting
Office and was advised that the building permits have been released and

The Hamilton County Surveyor's Office DOES have outstanding issues with this project. While it is
our understanding they have received approval to run the site outlet in the ROW of Pennsylvania
Street to the Clara Knott Drain, we have not seen revised plans or received an outlet permit for the
drain. Please hold the project until they have addressed the drainage issues. If you have any questions,
please let me know.

Gradle Drive, I do not believe they are through the Plan Commission yet. We have not received revised plans yet either in
