PZ-2022-00056 V, PZ-2022-00059-60 V: Schalliol Garage Variances. Dear Mr. Schalliol: At the meeting held on Monday, May 23, 2022, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located at 4417 Panthera Leo Drive: APPROVED: Schalliol Garage - Development Standards Variance approvals for: • Docket No. PZ-2022-00056 V: Maximum 18’ tall accessory structure allowed, 20’ tall detached garage/pool house granted, • Docket No. PZ-2022-00059 V: 25’ setback behind front line of principal building required, Approximately 53’ in front of house granted for detached garage, and • Docket No. PZ-2022-00059 V: Maximum 24’ x 30’ accessory structure allowed, Approximate 30’ x 54’ detached garage/pool house granted. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is May 23, 2025. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
