4. COMPARE FIELD CONDITIONS WITH ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING DRAWINGS. ANY DISCREPANCIES
SHALL BE DIRECTED TO THE ARCHITECT FOR CLARIFICATION PRIOR TO FABRICATION AND/OR
CONSTRUCTION. SUBMIT ALL NECESSARY SHOP DRAWINGS PRIOR TO FABRICATION FOR APPROVAL BY
ARCHITECT. NO INFORMATION OR DETAILS ON THESE SHEETS MAY BE USED WITHOUT THE PERMISSION
OF SLEEP NUMBER CORPORATION OR THE ARCHITECT.

13. THE WORK IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ("GC HEREIN) UNLESS NOTED

16. DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FINISH TO FINISH UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
17. COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE USED ABOVE CEILING LINE.
18. MATERIALS WITH A FLAME SPREAD GREATER THAN 75 SHALL NOT BE USED.
19. WOOD STUDS, BLOCKING, PLYWOOD AND THE LIKE SHALL BE FIRE RETARDANT TREATED.
20. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING ALL SHIPMENTS OF TENANT'S FIXTURES PACKAGE
AND OTHER OWNER FURNISHED MATERIALS UPON ARRIVAL TO THE STORE OR CONTRACTORS STORAGE
AREA. THIS INCLUDES OPENING BOXES AND VERIFYING THEIR CONTENTS AGAINST THE PACKING LIST,
CHECKING FOR ANY DAMAGE AND RECORDING IT ON THE BILL OF LADING PRIOR TO THE DRIVER LEAVING.
THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR WILL BEAR ANY AND ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MISSING OR DAMAGED
ITEMS FROM THAT TIME UNTIL THE STORE IS TURNED OVER TO THE OWNER.
21. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SCREWING STORAGE TOGETHER AND SECURING UNITS TO
WALL USING APPROPRIATE ANCHORS FOR WALL CONDITIONS. FIXTURE INSTALLATION PER AWI PREMIUM
GRADE STANDARDS.
22. BIDDING GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTORS MUST VISIT THE SITE PRIOR TO SUBMITTING
BIDS. DEMOLITION AND MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO EXISTING SPACE TO COMPLY WITH THESE
DOCUMENTS SHALL BE NOTED AND COMMUNICATED TO ARCHITECT AND INCLUDED IN BID PROPOSALS.
DEMOLITION REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: PARTITIONS, DOORS,
STOREFRONT, CEILING, FINISHES, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, FIRE SPRINKLERS, AND ELECTRICAL. PROVIDE
TEMPORARY ELECTRICAL WHEN REQUIRED.
23. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FINAL CLEANING OF STORE PRIOR TO PUNCH LIST. CLEAN UP
TO INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: GLASS CLEANING, REMOVING MARKS ON WALL SURFACES, CARPET
FINAL CLEANING, TILE (VCT AND CERAMIC) POLISHING, DUSTING FIXTURES AND STOREFRONT SIGN,
BROOM CLEANING ALL AREAS OF TENANT SPACE.
24. GENERAL CONTRACTOR, SUBCONTRACTOR, AND VENDORS WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE ARCHITECT
AND THE ARCHITECT'S CONSULTANTS FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO
