Subject: Evan Lurie Bldg DSV
Angie,
I've spoken with Kevin Sellers of CSO about the timeline to get the Lurie Building Height variance on the hearing
officer agenda this month. He has been directed to the variance application as a starting point. As far as notice,
he already has all the adjoining property information, and just needs to put together mailed and published notice.
I told him I would take a look at his letters, etc. before they are sent out. The packets will be due Friday as well as
the mailed public notice. Notice will be submitted to the Indy Star by Wednesday for Friday publication.
The project will need a docket number so it can move forward with notice - most notably for the newspaper's
Wednesday deadline. So, Angie, there is some information (elevations, floor plans) on the Plan Commission cart
in Matt's office (Docket No 06020015), and Kevin. please verify the building height as soon as possible and
let us know. The Variance requested will be from the B-1/Business District, more specifically Section 12.04.01 of
the Carmel Zoning Ordinance. This project will be exempt from fees.
I'll be at a meeting downtown Tuesday morning, but will be in for the afternoon and will help with whatever I can.
Thanks,
Adrienne
