It has come to our attention that the above property owner wants to install a gravel
parking area across from our AMLI Old Town project. This installation will allow
limestone dust to blow across our property. The CRC recommends disapproval of this
request unless the owner agrees to pave and curb the lot according to Carmel City
standards

Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals
Board members:
On behalf of the Carmel Clay Historical Society, at 211 First St. SW in Carmel, I
wish to express the Society's support for the usage to which Matt and Rachel Frey have
petitioned for their property at 220 2nd St. SW in Carmel. In particular, we congratulate
the Freys on choosing to preserve a historic structure and to have that-vestige of the local
historical perspective visible and accessible to our community and others.
We therefore so state our support of Docket N. 06030015, 06030016 applying for
zoning for the above property to be used for cultural/retail use. The property adjoins that
of the Society, and we look forward to working with occupants of that property in our
daily activities.
