Notice is hereby given that the Cannel Board of Zoning Appeals on the 24th day of April,
2006 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers, I Civic Square, Cannel, Indiana 46032 will hold a Public
Hearing upon Developmental Standards Variance applications for Allen Commercial Group
("Applicant"). Applicant requests a Developmental Standards Variances of the Cannel Zoning
Ordinance ("Ordinance") as a part of the development and construction of a medical office building
on the property. The variances are of Sections 23B.08.01 and 23B.IO.02B.(1) of the Ordinance, to
allow for the location of the building on the right-of-way line of Old Meridian Street and to allow the
location ofthe required planting strip to be located within the right-of-way and to reduce to width of
the planting strip along Pennsylvania Street.
The property subj ect to the Developmental Standards Variance requests is located immediately south
of the intersection of Old Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street.
The requests for the Development Standards Variances are identified as Docket No. 06030019V
and 06030020V.
The real estate affected by said applications is described in the attached legal description.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above application, either in writing or
verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Interested
persons may also file written comments prior to the meeting. The hearing may be continued from
time to time as may be found necessary.
