HomeMy WebLinkAboutPacket for HO 08-22-22Alan Cohen is requesting two fence variances for the property located at 248 2nd St SW, Carmel IN 46032. 1 am requesting to install an 8 foot white pvc fence on the west property line. I am also requesting a 6 inch setback from the sidewalk for the front yard fence. I am requesting an 8 foot fence on the west property line and only a 6 foot fence is allowed. My neighbor has installed an 8 foot fence on my east property line and I want the west property line to match. The 8 foot fence will be setback from the sidewalk 30 feet. 1 am requesting a 6 inch setback from the sidewalk and 1 foot setback is what is allowed. The fence is a 42 inch black smooth top aluminum fence. The reason I need that extra 6 inches is the city built a sidewalk in my front yard and took'/3 of the front yard. The front yard is approximately 10 feet deep now to the front porch.
