It will 4ttach to an existing three car garage. Statement of Variance 5.02.6.3 The standard is the combined square footage of the ground floor area of a private garageand or accessory building shall not exceed 75% of the ground floor area of the principaI l building. 153% is requested. 2.04 The standard is maximum of 18' tall for accessory buildings. 22' is being requested. Statement of Support Our home is the destination and gathering place for extended family during get togethers and holidays. Aging parents who visit is the primary reason for the first -floor square footage. We wanted them to have an area to be comfortable when our sons or other guests ith families are also present. The height request is due to the second floor. This is space for our sons and children to use simultaneously with grandparents. The structure is already slab on grade and height could n'iot be reduced without losing the second floor. We kept the architectural Ityle of the house as required by the HOA which ruled out a flat roof. We are part o4 a two -lot subdivision. Pam and Vince Schneider, (Owners of other lot and only direct neighbors), have seen the plans and have no objections. The plans also do not confliclwith the HOA covenants and restrictions. fA d •`.' v AW J• 0. 41 t ,II o9 O ia -' RLINE NEST 136T STRFFT ---- -----------__ 1 1 1 1 NscaF. .ao-o, a Q o 4 ina-w®rni aesiaerc 4213 W 9t 315t R.re t Garmei,'Mlaw 4F 0'14 nd-0o-co-o: w3OCV Rage 3 W kyFI.Id Lot 2 ! k'k / k § \n§ A/ $ y | \ [ / » / ---,---\-/ : \; k % § § & | Ij[F Ails Iz s FI 4DINGS OF FACT SHEET - DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS VARIANCE CARMEL ADVISORY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS (Petitioner to fill out 1-3 + first tyro blanks) Docket No.: - 2 O L 2. - 2- y a" - 2 - DO l 5-3 Petitioner: 9W Aw,!F o. 1.
