Dear Mr. Lillig:
The revisions you requested are shown on the enclosed copies (one signed, mylar and two
paper copies) of the above-referenced replat; however, one additional correction has been
made: The north lot line was readjusted to exclude the previously dedicated 10' right-of-
way per the Secondary Plat recorded on 6/9/99 as Instrument #9909934555. If you
require further explanation, please contact Michael DeBoy, Land Surveyor, at 634-6434.
Additionally, I have enclosed a check for $560.00 to cover the filing fee for the
Secondary Plat (Replat) Application.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience regarding approval and

Attached is a reduced copy of the above referenced plat for your review. The
following items have been addressed in response to your letter dated May 15, 2001:
1. The Paull. Cripe marker and the Mid-States marker have both been
revised to 30". All other markers are shown at the length installed
as part of the previous plat and were verified by virtue of field notes
and other data from an AL T A survey for Lot 3
2. The 36" marker at the Northwest corner has been revised to the
correct location per previously mentioned AL TA survey.
3. "Carmel West Drive" has been revised to "West Carmel Drive".
4. The administrative certificate as depicted in your comment letter
dated May 15th has been added to page one.
Mid-States will coordinat~ with the owner to obtain the filing fee of $560.00. This fee
will be included with the signed mylar, and paper copies as required, upon your approval
of the attached revisions.

Dear Jim:
I have reviewed the revised Secondary Plat (Replat) delivered to this Department yesterday
for Cannel Science & Technology Park, Block 17, Lot 3. The following are comments that need to
be addressed and plans updated accordingly:
Application:
· The $560.00 filing fee has not yet been submitted.
Secondary Plat:
· The Paul I. Cripe marker located at the southeast comer of the lot was originally indicated
to be 30 inches in length. It is now indicated to be 36 inches in length. The same situation
exists with a Mid-States Engineering marker located along the west boundary of the lot.
Please verify the actual lengths and mark them accordingly on the plat.
· At the northwest corner of the lot, a 36-inch marker that is presumably to be set along the
new right-of-way line is marked as found, and a found 30-inch marker at the old right-of-
way line no longer appears.
· Please replace "Cannel West Drive" with "West Cannel Drive."
· Please add the following Administrative Certificate to Sheet 1:

Dear Mr. Lillig:
A Non-enforcement of Drainage Easement on Individual Tracts was approved by the
Hamilton County Drainage Board on 11/14/00 for Old Meridian Professional Center
located at 1185 Carmel Drive. A copy of the non-enforcement agreement is hereby
forwarded to your attention. The owner of this property, Old Meridian Investments, L.P.,
would like to amend the secondary plat to reflect an adjustment ofthe W.R. Fertig
Regulated Drain Easement as shown on the attached site plan. This adjustment is a
correction of the drainage easement which was irregularly delineated due to a pre-existing
violation of the regulated drain. Simply stated, the previous property owner illegally
excavated a portion of the drain to create a recreational pond. The unauthorized activity
was investigated by Kurt Wanninger of the Hamilton County Surveyor's Office and the
area was filled to allow for development of the site. The recorded plat shows an easement
based on the centerline of the artificially expanded channel area, and the current owner
seeks to amend the plat to show a historically correct, straight alignment of the easement
